Ananda 宝塔节日（2018）

The Ananda Annual Festival, is one of the most famous pagoda festivals in Bagan, the Ananda temple holds its annual pagoda festival.

The Ananda temple is just a few minutes’ walk from our hotel and definitely worth a visit.

The villagers from around Bagan come to the festival in traditional bullock carts and made camps for the whole duration of the festival.

Entertainment includes musical amusement, dancing, singing, theatre and stand-up comedy.

There will be a sea of local vendors/shops selling everything from traditional food to agricultural tools and souvenirs.

Thingyan节(泼水节)- 2017年4月13日至4月16日

据了解，“Thingyan节”是缅甸最著名的节日之一，Ananda寺将于2017年4月13日至16日举办Thingyan节。

Thingyan(意为“太阳从双鱼座到白羊座过境”)是缅甸的新年节日，通常在四月中旬左右。这是一个持续4到5天的佛教节日，在新年达到高潮。Thingyan节的日期是根据缅甸日历计算的。节日的日期在整个缅甸被视为公共假日，是学年结束时暑假的一部分。使用任何形状或输送水的容器或设备投掷水来互相浇水是这个节日的特色，节日四天前完成。

缅甸的Thingyan节和该地区的其他节日差不多，比如老挝的泼水节(Songkran)、泰国的泼水节(Songkran)、柬埔寨新年(cambodia New Year)和僧伽罗新年(Sinhalese New Year)。
